Alex is a machinist and metalsmith of Chelsea, Michigan. He is also a longtime friend and fellow swordplay enthusiast who has been teaching himself advanced techniques used mostly to reward his friends and loved ones.
I volunteered to photograph his work to make sure there would be an online record of his artistry. Once I created my own website, it was a simple step to add this special gallery, which also provides added examples of my photography – except the last one. That's me in the helmet.
